Gold reprocessing in Western Australia

VAA Resources is a Western Australian gold reprocessing company. We are progressing the Holleton Gold Project through approvals and operational preparation, with a defined plan to reprocess historically mined and treated gold-bearing material.

Our own earthmoving equipment and practical gold-processing expertise support this work.

01 / About VAA Resources

Gold recovery is the focus. Practical capability supports it.

Earlier mining and treatment can leave gold in the material that remains. Reprocessing starts with understanding that material and assessing whether a suitable recovery method can be applied.

VAA brings material assessment and mineral-processing evaluation together with its own earthmoving equipment, field experience and project planning. At Holleton, we are progressing a defined reprocessing plan through approvals and operational preparation. Commencement remains subject to the required approvals and conditions, supporting technical work and operational readiness.

02 / Gold Reprocessing

A planned approach to gold reprocessing

The recovery method depends on the material. At Holleton, the plan for Leary's Lament centres on conventional vat leaching, supported by material assessment, processing preparation and approvals work.

01

Assess the material

Review the material's history, location and available sampling data. Field investigation and characterisation help establish what further sampling and processing work is needed.

02

Prepare the processing approach

The planned approach at Leary's Lament is conventional vat leaching. Material characteristics and supporting technical work inform preparation, including crushing and screening requirements and plant configuration.

Progress approvals and preparation

VAA is coordinating approvals and operational preparation, including materials handling, water management and site infrastructure. Our own earthmoving equipment and practical expertise support this work.

VAA combines its own earthmoving equipment and mobile plant with practical materials-handling, project-development and operational expertise to support its gold reprocessing projects and project evaluations.

Separate research and development

Alternative beneficiation research

Alongside the planned conventional vat-leaching project, VAA is evaluating alternative beneficiation approaches to preparing and concentrating gold-bearing material. This is a separate research and development activity; it is not the basis of the planned operation at Leary's Lament. Any application depends on technical validation, commercial assessment and applicable approvals.

Gold reprocessing: common questions

What is gold reprocessing?

Gold reprocessing involves treating material from earlier mining or processing activities to recover remaining gold. It can involve historic stockpiles or previously treated material, such as tailings. Sampling and processing studies are needed to assess suitability; previous mining or treatment alone does not establish a viable recovery project.

What gold-bearing material does VAA consider?

VAA's focus is previously mined and historically treated gold-bearing material. At Holleton, the reprocessing plan concerns historically mined and treated lateritic material. Each enquiry is considered on its own material characteristics, available information, site access and project requirements.

What stage is the Holleton Gold Project at?

Holleton is in the approvals and operational preparation stage, with a defined plan for conventional vat leaching at Leary's Lament. Commencement remains subject to the required approvals and conditions, completion of supporting technical work and operational readiness.

What should I include in a material or project enquiry?

Include the location, material type, your relationship to the project and any available sampling or processing information. A short, non-confidential overview is enough to begin a discussion. Contact details are available in corporate and project enquiries.

The planned operation

Leary's Lament at Holleton

The plan centres on reprocessing historically mined and heap-leached material using conventional vat leaching. Historical operating records and recent laboratory assay information inform material selection and processing preparation.

VAA is coordinating approvals and operational preparation, supported by its own earthmoving equipment and practical site expertise. Commencement remains subject to the required approvals and conditions, completion of supporting technical work and operational readiness.

Current work is directed toward progressing the Holleton reprocessing plan through approvals and operational preparation. It brings together material assessment, supporting processing studies, water management, plant configuration, site infrastructure and environmental planning.

Field investigation, survey and operational planning are used to refine the project layout and practical requirements for development, with an emphasis on working within established disturbance wherever practicable. The plan remains subject to technical findings, commercial assessment, the required approvals and conditions, and operational readiness.
